Immersive experiences, in nature.
Tall Pines Nature Retreats is a unique farm stay experience in the forest, a place to enjoy nature in all four seasons.
Located in Irondale, Ontario, a wild and undeveloped place in the Haliburton Highlands (about a 2 hour drive from Toronto).
Guests have access to common areas on the five acre riverside property where native trees and perennials are sustainably grown and harvested. Year round farm stay accommodation is in one of two authentic yurts, handcrafted entirely of renewable materials in the foothills of Mongolia. During the summer season (May-Oct), experience nature at one of two private riverfront cabins in the Madawaska Valley, 100km east of the farm. Camp firewood and select items produced on the farm are included with your stay.
We produce native trees, plants, firewood, maple syrup and fresh eggs. Alpaca products and seasonal fresh herbs are coming soon!
Check out our online farm store to browse annuals, perennials, moss & lichens, trees & saplings.
We ship items seasonally within Canada by Canada Post, or can arrange pick-up at the roadside farm stand where we also sell free-range farm fresh eggs that are hand gathered daily.
The roadside farm stand is open seasonally, 24/7 and self-serve.
